I
was inspired to call myself The Purple Realtor after reading
the book “The Purple Cow” by Seth Godin.
It’s a remarkable book that got
me thinking about how to be different from every other Realtor out there.
The following is an excerpt for the book: |
 |
"Cow’s,
after you’ve seen one or two or ten, are boring. A Purple
Cow, though … now that would be something.
Purple
Cow describes something phenomenal, something counterintuitive
and exciting and flat out unbelievable.
Every day, consumers
come face to face with a lot of boring stuff – a lot
of brown cows – but you can bet they won’t forget
a Purple Cow. And it’s not a marketing function that
you can slap onto your product or service.
Purple Cow is inherent.
It’s built right in or it’s not there. Period." The

With
that, and it’s still a work in
process, I’ve come up with exciting, activity creating
ideas to build relationships and sell
houses. Some of these
are:
First, and foremost, an absolute commitment
to “the client comes first”. I will always put
your interests ahead of my own – guaranteed.

Spectacular
Open Houses: 21
ft tall inflatable open house blimp, petting zoo with
miniature horses and goats, and purple open house directional
signs. These things get noticed. They have, in my
experience, create 4 to 5 times the number of
potential buyers attending an open house.
